Waverley Eye Clinic website redesign
Waverley Eye Clinic approached me to redesign their website. They wanted a new look for the website and updated information regarding the business. After a thorough consultation with the client and determined the scope of the project, a proposal was made to establish a digital identity for Waverley Eye Clinic including setting up the value, purpose and direction for the new website.
Market and user research, personas, user journey, mood boards, images treatments, color profile, a new sitemap for content and wire-frames was all part of the design process for this website.
We started by doing an audit of the existing site and gathering information, feedback and content that was desired, and not displayed on the existing site. I then created a few persona to determine the user journey.
At the same time, I did some market research on the competitors around the area. From similar size to clinics that are bigger or smaller than our practice to begin organizing our own design approach, tone of voice, values and visual identity.
After the research, user journey mapping and the information gathering, we were able to come up with a new information structure for the website content.
With the finalized sitemap, I began exploring the website with low fidelity wire-frames for the structure, mobile and desktop version included. After testing the wire-frames with the main stakeholders, I proceed to some high fidelity wire-frame for presentation and wider testing.
A visual and color mood-board was created for the look and feel of the website as part of the visual identity we are trying to create for Waverley Eye Clinic website based on the clinic's logo.
The client had expressed some desired site qualities such as a elegant, professional and  friendly service. Based on some reference sites that the client liked and my suggestion, I began working on some visual design explorations using all the results from the research and mood-board.
During the design phase, I needed to conduct 2 photography session to get pictures of the premises, staff and doctors. As for development, I used Bootstrap framework for the front-end build.
My Role: web design, development, journey mapping, information architecture, wire-framing, prototyping, design strategy, design system, UI/UX, photographer.
